"It's SO difficult to REALLY change."
"Why, changing from bad to goods is just as easy as taking yer first step!" (Not!)
EASY, see?
Here, state-side, the folks in the BIG CHAIRS (more like "High Chairs" tee hee) say, "Well we weren't perfect. We did pretty well of course, we brought you great vaxxines, we were—well our fault was—we were only a little too optimistic. That's it! So…oops. But we can do better! We will next time!"
No admission of guilt… or death… or harm done or shortening of lifespans (ya know, those little things some of us value…)
Bill Gates tells us we did well but we weren't quite prepared enough—we'll do better next time with MORE vaxxines sooner and a BETTER global team! Better surveillance! (yay team).
Rochelle Walensky – calls for a "RESET" only because "our performance didn't meet the expectations of this country." "There were missteps" to be sure. So..we have solutions, thankfully. Ms. W mentions better communication! More timely response! The mistakes admitted-to were only in not giving a clear consistent message, not moving fast enough, and in not paying some of “our team” enough (right, $ that's it…). Tsk tsk.
In the UK it's a bit different but… not much. The folks in the WINDSOR CHAIRS issued some very good news today. The NHS decided to "end" the clot shots for children under the age of 12. Of course this will save some young lives (and thank gawd fer that! genuinely I'm exceedin'ly glad).
But… mind ya, there is ZERO admission of guilt here either—we learn it was a "one-off programme," one and done. Next queue dearies…
NOPE, the message here in the US and over yonder in the UK for all those who are indeed "mean and despicable creatures at heart" (NOT by their own admission but by ours…) is that you can CHANGE in a snap! Just keep walking! One foot in front of the other…
~~~~~~
Now I wanna say---before I share with you a clip from one of Daisy's FAVORITE kiddie specials (and do take note musical fans—the voice of Kris is none other than…Mickey Rooney! and the "naughty" wizard WinterWarlock is Paul Frees!—I mean just…grin, such talent there was indeed…) – that there is MUCH GOOD in the message that you can indeed move forward and that each STEP in the RIGHT DIRECTION gets you closer to your goal and those steps are great practice ( gets easier as you go along!).
BUT THIS ONLY WORKS when your goal is to change for the better—in this case of doing good and not being a meanie ('specially 'round xmas time)! But if doing better means being a more efficient killing - and - propaganda machine…well… THAT is a problem.
So friends, I'm not in any way mocking this dear-hearted lil' Rankin & Bass special but when the same philosophy is applied to real life health "diktats" here in the US and in the UK—the facile response is nothing short of "cartoonish" and that's why I'm sharing this:
Remember, Walensky described their (obscene and genocidal) handling of the (manmade) Covid-Crisis only as regrettable "missteps." If only they knew how to walk correctly like Kris Kringle! Cartoon-land folks. Dialogue and stop-motion animation. Good enough for the good citizens of the US and the UK. Keep Calm & Carry On! We'll Do Better Next Time! Cheerie message & cheerio!
And like Fauxchee & Birx, the refrain is: "Soon you'll be walkin' out the door!" (on their own terms and with a gigunda package / sack of goodies stolen from Santa too!) Just keep on walkin' keep on movin' along…
Such "gifts" from the chair-folks, and it ain't even Christmas yet.
