BURPetrated on our entire population (burpin' cuz it repeats on ya too! ugh!)--under it all was the DOD and alphabets--much of what we all 'xpected but the scale and funding and the scripts went a bit farther than many of our worst nightmares. Many've us been jokin' that the celebs are all "ho's" (not unlike HoHoHochul) fer money and this jus' proves it fully--all the way down to the "ice cream man" -- deliverin' that propaganda in a bowl, inna cone, and just slung like so much we'all know what!
And man-oh-man it's stronger' than pig manure on a summer day--an' spreads like it too. Outdoors on a trail in the Catskills?! Man that's crazy! But in my neib (we are in process of leavin' town but still makin' trips so back and forth in the city), there are STILL plenty of folks wearing masks (maybe 10% now?) including kids (clearly be-masked by their cluelessly abusive parents).
We are still livin' in Amer-I-CON and even when this sort of scandal comes out--folks are still eatin' the ice cream (and the plate! an' my HAT too!)
Yikes...I had seen that 2001-ish Halo Top ice cream ad a while back, but I only found out about this Jeff Censored guy (RIP) tonight. Watched enough of the long show to know that I'll watch some more of his shows in the future.

I noticed a photo of the Kaepernick ice cream container while watching a bit of the Jeff Censored show. If I hadn't seen it on his screen, I'd be tempted to leave out a little tiny smidgen of hope that the image you posted was some sort of parody/photoshop scene...but I guess no hope left for that.
Even waaaay back in the day, Colbert could be cloyingly smarmy and too cute for his own good.
Oh well, we'll just have to make do without him.

The first link ya sent "musical tangent" was just the same halo top commercial (unless you were pointin' out the music in it--it's certainly a big part of it!). Loved the Dudley Moore n' Peter Cook sketch--I might say that Moore as'a one-legged Tarzan is not much more absurd than having Biden as a half-wit (half brained!) Resident in Chief! I'll take the "real" comedians though! And yes, the Kaepernick "flava" is REAL... shakin' my head mightily there... Vegans need to supplement their b'vitamins by the way. Soy is a hormone disruptor, even if organic -- also due to phytates leaches key vitamins ya need outta yer system, not good. Tempeh is a tad better but only in small amounts--which is what traditional Japanese do (they don't consume it by the hunk or plateful like fool Americans do, maybe 1T in soup, etc so you get any benefits but aren't slammed with a heap'o phytoestogens ). Traditionally in Japan they also eat fish (brain food). If ya can't get any sort of animal protein at very least, avoid the soy (and the canola--super bad news stuff!) Know yer farmers, know whar yer food comes from (there are farmer-to-table food clubs all over the US thankfully!)

Long 'fore "covidism" I was readin' about SO many standup comedians getting canceled or boo'd offstage on college campuses and nearby hangouts--even "commercial" ones like Jerry Seinfeld and Chris Rock (settin' aside the dubious Oscar set up thang) BOTH refused to play college crowds and no longer tour "the circuit" due to this lack of humor and new-found over sensitivity (to micro offenses and all that). We went to more cabarets (with friends' performin') prior to being banned but all those shows incorporated humor, gags, schtick--all that good stuff--and some open mic events also had real standups... Used to be a lotta funny, witty folks here... Most of those places closed permanently even before the "bans" but I wonder where the funny folks went???? (online? to Tennessee? just don't know...)

So yes, gotta do what we kin at the 'lections, gotta work the court system, gotta speak up (like here'bouts or whever ya kin' set up a soapbox!), an even (mass) protests or quirky stuff like trucker convoys are all YES's.
