And I’m with you. Being in theatre, I’ve had more gay colleagues than straight ones. Just like any peoples, there’s good and bad ones, but that has nothing to do with their sexuality. I’ve seen some extraordinary gay talent and will defend their rights shoulder to shoulder. You’d be surprised how many of them find the trans movement antithetical to what they stand for (and this includes some trans people who find that the movement has been usurped by “well meaning” activists.) it’s never so black and white. Many shades and hues and colors, not unlike a rainbow cake running under an unfortunate accident with a heating lamp.
