Ok, saving this post so I can come back to it when I have the time to go through all these links. I’ve caught bits and pieces of Cathy O’Brian’s story. It’s time for me to try and expand my understanding. Thanks, Daisy.

but of course! this piece isn't so much coverin' her life story (tho' I link to it--her main presentation an' book) but it takes the story of her missin' daughter Kelly (an' the new info revealed by Cathy Fox) an' delves inta the imagery of Lost Little Girls which is quite a thing!--an' seems to have been a thing fer a good part'a the last century--creepy stuff--little girls alone in weird spaces "lost" / as victims or fair "game"--which brought me back to SRA (an' Cathy's tale) Dig in when ya can--it's not comfy readin' but its 'specially timely with all the Diddy stuff comin' out--all tied together in a way... some say Diddy was also a "handler" (ugh!)

As parents, digging into this stuff is especially hard. 😢

oh my yes! but I've made life changes knowin' "more"--all mah life I ignored the "pro life" stuff but once I had mah babies I was like OMG an' tho' I carve out a few exceptions (rape is one)--knowin' of this--an' experiencin' the preciousness of life--even as an' ol lefty (long 'fore leavin' the "party mind"...) I quietly did a 360 on that position... this is def. a tunnel an' not purdy--hopefully we parents kin spare our kids from havin' a worry fer their own kids if the truth becomes known... (?) 🙏🏼

Amazing post. Some much thought put into this. I have long wondered about Kelly. Brings to mind Laurie Anderson's lyrics from Bright Red:

Did she fall or was she pushed?

Your shirt on my chair

Your shirt on my chair

I'll be with you. I'll be there

I'll never leave you

Your shirt on my chair

Come here little girl. Get into the car

It's a brand new Cadillac. Bright red. Come here little girl

Hey! Haven't I seen you somewhere before?

Your despair in my heart. Bright red

Your words in my ears

I'll be with you. I'll be there. I'll never leave you

Wild beasts shall rest there

And owls shall answer one another there

And the hairy ones shall dance there

And sirens in the temples of pleasure

Your shirt on my chair

I'll be with you. I'll be there. I'll never leave you

Your shirt on my chair

wull many thanks re my postin', glad ye liked it--an' whatta good (creepy!) piece from Laurie & Lou ta bring in an' evoke the uncanny-strange feelin' of lost Kelly---lost to men that might drive bright red cadillacs or have bright red candy apples to lure her away... and offer a strange netherworld that sounds like Bohemian grove & the Biltmore combined! (owls call... sirens lure one ta the pleasure temples--ah we've seen footage of that stuff--an' then the hairy ones like like Ol' Scratch 'er Caliban.... quite the visual hellscape--an' that they take turns speakin' (like head voices? real ones? what ya might here if you were drugged?), that it's like an incantation, lurin' the "little girl" inta danger with the implication she's undressed already (shirt on chair).... I WONDER what she was thinkin' when she scribed that lyric... (an' of course there's the color of blood too...) analogies aside, that song might indeed be a "tell"...?

Dunno what she or Lou was thinkin' exactly...I listened to it many times over 30 years back in NYC and Baltimore...seems prophetic...maybe her subconscious was clairvoyantly flowing deep down under her public persona. I think you are right on with your extra-per-lations.

lol... or mebbe they sawr more than they could state overtly?... both workin' on the margins of Big MooSick, yet both had contracts with purdy big labels an' got invited ta the right pahrties... who knows what they sawr (I know Lou sawr a lot on the "Wild Side" ha ha!)... that said, Laurie did have sumthin' kinda prophetic goin'.... All the X's out there with StarLink in the "sky blue -beam" sky...?

You know, it could be you

It's a sky-blue sky

Satellites are out tonight

Let X equal X

love 'em both... an' may Lou RIP

Yes, agreed, so probably a tell of what's been seen and can't be said. On those margins they would have been privy to a lot, direct and indirect. Yes, Laurie seemed pretty much on her scope about our "now". On the other side (inside) there are those "people" like Grimes and her "lyrics". Begs the question: "It was written"? By whom, by what, A-eye?

ah, re that EYE (Eh?) mebbe helpin' a bit (?) likely--but I do believe that behind the muse-a-CULL baddies that are jihadin' our ear-ways are some bought 'n sold hew-men -- that'd be actual "human HEW-MEN" behind 'em. That said, these hired "hew-men" lack the talents an' vision an' passion of the "real" musicians whose works rang so true to us--no matter how much they were always "produced" / directed, etc.... Such "real" talents of course DO yet exist but they're on the margins now... the in-dust-tree only shows us the dead leaves!

Ha, yes, very good, the in-dust-tree! The muse-a-CULL exhume-uns perhaps? Jihadin' our ear-ways for sure, and then bore-in deep into the bray-in. Gotta hand it to ya DMCC, you've got the goods.
