Loved this. Can't tell you how much I despise Turdeau/Castro and followed the trucker thing avidly on YouTube. I'm in UK and my heart bleeds for the Canadians, Aussies and Kiwis. Shame you had to use Neil Young's melody for 'Keep on Truckin'' (though unavoidable really given the context.) Don't get me wrong, I was a huge fan of Neil's (got all his early albums) but because he's gone all Covidian and had that spat with Rogan I can't listen to hm anymore. I guess it would feel like admiring Hitler's water colours.

Thank ya kindly--oh we used Neil's song on purpose because he'd gone to the dark side by that point--Voldemort!--so it's like turning a frown upside down (corny as that may sound) and we wanted to stick it to 'em puttin' his song to far better purpose! (A bit'of irony as it were.) We love his old stuff n' own it but not a penny towards his coffers ever again unless he changes his tune. Here's more on how this started... https://markcrispinmiller.substack.com/p/keep-on-truckin We don't think it was a shame at all re our choice (it's okay if ya do), but we DO feel both Neil and another favorite Joni Mitchell should indeed feel purdy darned ashamed -- former free-speech anti-war peaceniks and tryin' to pull outta Spotify on account of the Rogan interviews.... Crazy world we're in, right?

Nice work there Daisy! 👍😎 No small irony in using that Neil Young classic for your witty lyricism either. Sadly, I have a little trouble putting on my old Neil albums now. A little part of me wants to forgive him for his stupidity … my turntable and he used to be the greatest of friends… they used to play together all the time!

wull thanks John, glad ya liked it! Re Neil -- (Oh Neil!) I know I know, ditto here... , now he's like an' ol' wolverine--yellow fanged an' viscious! (an' a whack job too....not only did he an' Joni (so much fer Oh Candida...) go equally feral on the unvaxxed--but ya might 'member he said he wouldn't play a venue unless they served organic food. I mean WHERE on Earth?!? (An who in heck goes ta concerts to EAT?!)... outta touch ain't kind enuf for 'im now...

So, I wuz ticked off enuf that I figgered we'd jus' use his song for "good" since he now seems ta have a heart of cold dull lead ;-)

I guess if we think've the "needle an' the damage done" that 'bout sums it up STILL!
