Thought-provoking as always, Daisy! Warmth is not just a physical reality but a metaphysical or spiritual one as well. Children who are raised without warmth -- love, compassion, attention, encouragement, lots of hugs and care -- cannot grow into warm human beings who are able to bestow that same warmth upon others. It's the difference between mammals and reptiles.

ha ha yup, the most "oxymoronic" term for a-social alien-aye-shun! don't worry 'bout us yet, hopefully they won't turn NY State into a SubZero walkin' fridge cuz HoHoHochul is with the plan (cue the hiss an' slap her royal self with a frozen flounder!). Shucks that is so kind've ya to offer shelter in the Sunshine State--wull keep it in mind with gratty-tude! Soitenly I know the grass is greener in other states now--we have ties to NY fer the moment but we'z watchin' land an' sea just in case... what insane times in the ol' U.S. of Eh????
