Aw thank ya kindly fer the "offer of help if ya could!"--many've us folks here on the fringes are the "roll up yer sleeves an' lend a hand" types, I do believe!--but today we're all outliers in a "whirled" where folks just sit down an' "take it"--jabs, spoon-fed media (me-dia!), gmo food, LIES... How ta bring 'em back? (How ta bring back the dead?!--cognitively at least!)

Ah, yup, keep yer thinkin' cap on. I know 'bout fambly that won't speak ta ya--we have some dok-turds in the bunch (one've 'em forced my poor ma ta take the clot-shots--she's not alright since... long story...) an' I told 'em off purdy loudly an' blamed 'em fer her sufferin' (hospitalizaton etc)--so they don't talk ta me either! But they're all "Level 2" order-followerz (goons!)--we don't have any Level 3's but I might again' risk tellin' the "Turrible 2's" ta stop hypin' them clot shots-- meantimes I'm keepin' my own eyes peeled fer Level 3's--those "killer" jobs in all ways that means!

'Nother bang-up essay, Daisy. Likewise, if I was in a zip code within a day's drive, I'd offer t' help out.

Gee thank ya much fer that and I'd a taken ya up on it---I think that we gotta 2 prong die-lemma here we human beans that wanna say human--1st is stoppin' the gen Z'erz with their "killer" jobs from...killin' us one paycheck atta time -- that's one prong, the t'other is figgerin' ways to form local communities with some'a these same "generate-shun" of human-avoidin' gen-Z-erz who ain't used ta helpin' others 'round them, ain't used ta readin' 'er writin'-- all caught up in viddeo games an' phones an' seem ta be on a diff'rent planet than the one I'm from--Earth! So yup, we all got our work cut out!

Now I’m only bringing this up because you included 9-5 in the end there, but did you see that Dolly donated money to get the shot developed and sang the Vaccine song to the tune of Jolene (blasphemy!)?

And for the record, even if these jobs didn’t exist, they’d be doing this shit under the table and behind the back door. The genie is out of the bag.

I also feel like a hypocrite, but I like using AI as a tool. Don’t kill me. I just really like what it bring to the table. Not that it should replace all the human things. And this is coming from me who would voluntarily take time to spent living life like the Amish.

Nice rant, Daisy! Thanks for posting the link in my comment section. I barely can catch up with all the reading I’ve missed these last few months.

thank ya Tonika! So... yup, I'm sadly aware of Miz Dolly's turnin' Jolene inta a vaxxxine promo--didn't know she shoveled $ inta shot development but not surprised. That said, the ol' Dolly (like the Ol' Neil Young!) had gumption an' a set'a pipes--I have ta look at a lotta stuff in terms of BP or AP (before 'er after plandemic--kinda like Carbon 14 datin'!)

So yes, some'a these jobs are "under the table" but in every case these folks are hired--folks that should have a stronger moral compass--folks that did not come from the elite job pool-- they are youn'uns that need / like the $ so it's not a matter of whut we see or don't--it's all about bein' blind to their crimes--goin' ta work daily to support cabal crimes, spy on us human beans, or sometimes monkey with our DNA or minds remotely (if ya take the woo full down ta the bone!) So.... yup, it only takes a few of these millions of paid minions ta bring it all down--the right glitch, the right server crash, the right hack--that's why I say these folks kin no longer be "Good Germans" an' just take the salary--they got blood on their "google fingers" now!

Now, as fer AI--I'm notta fan as ya see but I know yer not usin' it fer "bad" an' yer kinda the exception bein' creatively inclined an' not usin' it as a crutch/substy-2-shun--for thinkin' an' creatin'---but too many folks ARE--usin' it as a crutch, as a facade, or worse--ta con, dupe, harm. No not you, I git it. Teens as we speak are gettin' AI'd inta doin' porn, worse stuff even--meanin' somebuddy's takin' their image an' manipulatin' it fer selfish puposes includin' the shamin' or worse of the original kid. Adults are gettin' blackmailed with the same software. There are no rules, its kinda like the Wild West--they let them wild horses run around the plains, no gates (I mean the kind that kin check a stampede) -- So the issue is releasin' somethin' concocted ta do harm even tho' some use it fer good. Lettin' all this come out now--unhinged without "checks 'n balances"--then it's gonna harm more than good even tho' this tech--like many inventions--is not without some good "pernts" in the most objective sense. So that's how I see it... Lookit Tesla's inventions--all created fer good but got in baaaaad hands an' the result has been (ta use the word of the week!) a bloodbath!

So ta me, it's kinda like the old rule 'bout Kings and Queens--when they're good it's fine for the serfs, there's peace in the land--but wieldin' that much power--when they ain't good--it's far worse for them serfs with all that unchecked power their monarchs have... I see some of the tech--of all sorts--in that light...

It's the hands holdin' the weapon--not the weapon in a way... make sense?

It took me a good half my life to grok the Buddhist essence of "right livelihood."

"I answer phones, I'm not hurting anyone"

"I answer phones for a huge multinational conglomerate that hurts people"

"But I'm just answering the phones."

When you are a small cog in a giant machine, it's hard to see the harm.

How can we educate our Z'rs?

Not sure your example resonates with me. Apply it to washing dishes. But the dishwasher is just washing dishes. I can be zen washing dishes. I didn’t have a dishwasher for the first 40 years of my life, was plenty zen washing by hand. And still can be. But having the dishwasher do it for me, also allows me to go be zen in the forest and commune with the trees. AI has the capability to reduce laborious tasks so you can spend more time pondering life’s existence, your individual purpose, and unplug from the matrix so you can explore your relationship with nature and others.

And that is how the camel's nose gets in the tent.

Convenience. You think it's better.

Stop feeding the AI.

Expand full comment
Visceral Adventure's avatar

The whole camel has been in the tent and it’s been eating everything in sight. It happened way before we, the pubic, had access to it. And not using AI won’t stop feeding it as it’s being fed on everything on line. Your high school year book photos. The painting some kid did in second grade that his mom uploaded. The toaster your next door neighbor sold. Everything. Now if you said let’s turn off the internet, you might have some grounding. But not using it won’t save you from what you fear.

Sorry, but I choose not to HELP the camel eat everything.

It's not fear, it's hate. (and I do not use that word lightly, being a fluffy newage bunny type)

I think yer both right! The camel not only is in our tent an' eatin' everythin', it's poopin' so much ya gotta wartch yer step! The "tech"

is all ovuh da place an' half the time ye cain't tell if the dang poop is SIM-you-LATED 'er real...at least without a lotta screw-tiny. Similar ta SELL-phones. If everybuddy stopped usin' the dang things...just as if everyone (near so) stopped usin' the AI, my argue-mint is that it might INDEED cause the MACHINE to STOP (like the Forester story!). But "realistically" that is unlikely... like yer sayin'... So the next best thang is fer those of us that wanna abstain ta do so but fer the rest... ta WRANGLE the wild dogie... I'm not sure how... Supposedly there is a rogue program that has AI foil it's own shuttin' off... like HAL in 2001 (dang that Kubrick wuz prescient!)... I lean ta the worry 'bout this big time tho... I just don't know if the wild feral cat kin be put back in the bag!

I’m sorry I missed your thoughtful reply. Someone else replied and brought me back to this from a year ago!

The genie is out of the bottle. It’s getting yielded by nefarious people. We could either learn its capabilities and build protections or awareness, at the very least, or we could abstain and be left in the dust. Or worse yet, fall victims.

lol, any time is a good time ta com-mint! if only that genie wuz Robin Williams (the best part of Aladin lol!)... but yup, as fer options that 'bout sums it up! I think we kin larn & build them protections... you, I kin just holler from the rafters but there are programmers an' hackers an' folks that kin stop the "remote access" to US! to our DNA... there are folks able ta jam the chemtrail planes so they cain't take off... this exists... it's the "these are jobs" young'uns that gotta be convinced as they have ZERO sense of their own mortality!

Each time you use AI, you teach it something.

Each time you use AI, you teach it something else.

Each time you use AI you teach it something new.

Stop feeding the AI!

AI is being taught by everything that gets put on line. Including your comment here. Its parameters are set up by people who might not be aligned with your values but it’s good comes from everything that’s linked in. Using AI doesn’t mean you stop using your brain. You need abstract and imaginary cognitive function to succinctly communicate creative prompts, for example. People who use AI to write their homework are NPCs who would exist with or without AI. What Ai can accomplish is cutting out the laborious part of a task. But you still need the smarts to identify, input, and correct accordingly.

I hear ya Tonika--you are rare 'n unique in walkin' the thin line usin' it ONLY fer teeeeeedeeeyus tasks... an' keepin' yer creeATEive overalls on... as ye likely know, TOO many 'r sucked inta the "Big Easy" (not naw'leans I mean lazy replace-mint of human tasks with automated ones... the AI...) College kids ain't even writin' their own papers now (we just did a "tour" fer my younger dawtur an' they directly address it, the problem is so bad). as fer me, I'll have nuttin' ta do with the AI "Evil Eye" but like I said... it's like a wild bronco... most cain't rid the thang... most git thrown an' hurt... bad mebbe... So I don't put mah keester near that saddle! (an' I say this with a lotta bravo's fer all ya do with dat bronco in yer viddeos too ;-)

Yes, I deal with students day in and day out and see some of their ineptitude in even trying to get AI to help write their papers. 😂 Lord and Taylor! It’s so bad! They’re not even smart enough to make it sound decent, like they wrote it. This problem can be solved by recooking at education altogether though. If you have kids competing for some kind of arbitrary reward (a grade) given to them by a stranger (a teacher who can’t possibly engage one-on-one with 30 students in a classroom), you’ll get entirely generations of kids who learn how to cheat well. It’s incentivized that way.

Rush 2112.

About the Priests of the Temples of Syrinx and their Great Computers which Fill the Hallowed Halls....and how makin' yer own music is ferbidden, you can only listen to what the AI priests give you....

Hmmm.

Mr. Neal Peart (RIP) was a prophet.

Waaaaaaahhhl I jus' finished the album.

Mr. Neal says that Aliens (who were the Elder Race of Hoo-mans) will return and save us....

I believe that art (music, dance, theatre, even moo-vies) tap into the deep collective stream, and the zeitgeist bubbles up from there.

This is how the Simpsons can be prophetic (even when they are not exactly predictive - and may or may not be normalisation programming).

Love the things ya do!

mucho thanX JC... yup, in mah various 'n sundry stacks I got a fair amt. of Simpsons showin' just how spot on (er slightly spotty) they oft are... but MEETOO when it comes ta the real stuff... the "foin ahrts"... I feel too that them "bubbles" may keep us afloat... literally an' energetically--some say workin' this creative mojo has a literal measurable effect in frequency an' who am I ta argue?!

ps I ain't so sure 'bout "aliens" yet... got so maaaaany theories an' some say early VR looked a lot like aliens, others say paperclip nazi evil tech... an' some (not ta be full out dismissed either) do believe we've had "visitors"... my ears are open but my eye's a bit hairy lookin' at at least sum'a these prophesies... that said, one might be speakin' true an' mistakin' one kinda human bean fer another... There are (weirdly) "enhanced peeepull" too... Down in the DUMBS. They've been attit fer years...
